Originally aired as an Instagram Live, in this podcast I was invited by Nadine Abdel Ghaffar to talk about my experiences as an art journalist and my particular focus on art from the Middle East. We also discuss art in the digital age, how to research and critique art, as well culture in the time of Covid-19 and how we can tell stories through art.
Nadine is the founder of Art d’Egypte, a company that aims to promote Egyptian art with annual exhibitions at historic sites. The Cultural Conversations LIVE series, which has been edited into podcast episodes, feature movers and shakers in the local, regional and global art landscape including curators, historians, artists, patrons, gallerists and art writers.
